Top Ten for August… In no order, these are the tracks I’m feeling!

Anomalies – Employee Of The Month

Really feeling this band, check the album too its big… Ska, rappin type shnizzle, check the video. Also do a search on Youtube for Robocop Rap, too funny.

Maccabees – No Kind Words (Dan Le Sac’s Sucked In Rmx)

Can’t find any video/audio on this but its a quality remix from Dan Le Sac… Bass heavy randomness to begin with then its kicks off. Simple tight dnb break, stabby bass & fucked up vocals… Expect hear this in allsorts of sets, plus it does justice to the original too.

Casiokids – Fot I Hose

Signed to Moshi Moshi, this Norwegian band supply this quality tune thats beggin’ to be given some heavy remix treatment… No vocals but killer 303 bassline running all the way through this, press play.

Bunk & Dubz Feat NG – Break You

Massive tune by three of Sheffield’s finest… Bunk & Dubz with vocal from Nicol Garnon. Heavy Drum & Bass tune with bags of energy, really feeling this! Released on Tipping Point Music at various digital outlets.

Bombay Bicycle Club – Always Like This (Dashikter Rmx)

A new one from me… I’ll stick a clip up of this when I get chance. I enjoyed remixing this, took me ages to work out the bassline but I think I got it… Lemme know what you think.

Jamie T – Sticks ‘N’ Stones

I’m pleased to see Jamie T back, this is a great tune… everyone knows the lyrics already! Magic.

Rumble Strips – Not The Only Person

Been going since 2004… based in Devon, signed to Fallout Records. This was Zane Low’s Record Of The Week at the end of April. Produced by man of the minute Mark Ronson… Shocked theres no trumpets in it :)

Beastie Boys – Too Many Rappers

Great news that The Beastie Boys are back…

Massive break & bassline action in this, sounds as fresh as ever… Nas guests on this one. Sadly, they’ve had to hold back the tour and album due to Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch being diagosed with a form of throat cancer! Speedy recovery MCA!!

Kasabian – Fire

Big tune from their latest album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. Folky Disco crossover randomness from Kasabian, goes down a treat… just press play.

Toddla T – Boom DJ From The Steel City

Steel city’s very own! Check his myspace player for the Audio… Its fresh off of his debut album Skanky Skanky… another bass heavy distroyer! Features Helders & Trigganom. World domination seems to be his next move… Album, Essential Mix, Radio 1, Fabric Live mix (which looks massive). Show him some myspace love here. T… send me the Clipz remix… you know you want to :)
